Capstone Benefits Advisors, founded by Troy Hutchinson in 2004, is a full service personal and corporate planning firm.
Our services include: Employee Benefit Consulting, Retirement Planning and Life and Disability Insurance Solutions.
With over 18 years of experience in these areas, Capstone Benefits Advisors is your full service solution. Capstone Benefits Advisors takes care of all of the details in a smart, efficient manner to provide you with an experience you will not find anywhere else. Because we are a small firm, we are very accessible and all calls are returned promptly. We also stand behind our promise to personally service all problems that arise from our clients use of their employee benefits, retirement plans or life insurance policies. We do not believe in "Call the Carrier" as a solution to your problem.

Troy Hutchinson

Troy H. Hutchinson is the Founder and CEO of Capstone Benefits Advisors. Troy is responsible for the day to day management of the operation, client relations, business development, and marketing. Troy began his career in the Insurance Business almost 20 years ago with a major Life Insurance Company.
During Troy’s time there, he built a successful Life and Disability Insurance practice focusing on Physicians and Small Business Owners. Expanding into Investments, Troy began advising his clients on their Retirement Plans and Investment Allocations. After combining his expertise in these two areas, Capstone Benefits Advisors was founded in 2004 and is focused on providing Employee Benefits and Retirement plans for its Clients.
Troy initially began his career at Georgia Pacific and then joined Northwestern Mutual from 1991 – 2005. While at Northwestern Mutual, Troy led the Agency in Securities production as well as Disability Insurance Sales.
Troy received a Bachelor’s of Science in Journalism and Communications from the University of Alabama.
He lives in Milton, Georgia with his wife Suzanne and son Troy IV. Troy is an avid golfer and a past member of Million Dollar Round Table and the Fulton County Pension Board. |

Kim Dunn
Director of Operations

Kim Dunn is Director of Operations at Capstone Benefits Advisors. Kim is responsible for
the underwriting for the life and disability insurance area of Capstone, as well as client relations,
licensing and all financial and corporate accounting services.
Kim brings a wealth of experience in the financial side of the business beginning with her career
in banking. Kim spent over 10 years at Bank of New York and served in many positions up through branch manger and earning the title of Assistant Vice President during her tenure there. As branch manager, she specialized in reorganizing operations and improving profitability at branches with poor performance records. She also developed corporate accounts and authorized commercial and consumer loans.
Kim and Troy have been working together for many years. Kim was Troy’s administrative assistant and office manager at Northwestern Mutual starting in October 2000. When Troy opened Capstone in 2004, Kim immediately joined him to help him get the company off the ground.
In Kim’s spare time, she enjoys playing tennis and volunteering. She has managed all finances for two volunteer organizations with annual budgets in excess of $100,000.
Kim received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with highest honors from
Mercy College in New York.
Kim lives in Johns Creek, Georgia with her husband and three sons. |
